The Archdiocese of Rennes, even Archdiocese Rennes, Dol and Saint- Malo (Latin: Archidioecesis Rhedonensis (, Dolensis et Sancti Maclovii ) ) is located in western France Archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church. Seat is Rennes.

History

Since the 3rd century Rennes is a bishopric. In the Middle Ages Rennes coronation of the Dukes of Brittany. On 29 November 1801, the diocese of Dol and the Diocese of Saint- Malo were dissolved and struck mostly the diocese of Rennes, but built back in 1822. On January 3, 1859 Archdiocese of Rennes and 1880 with Dol and Saint- Malo was pooled. Current bishop since his appointment in 2007 Pierre d' Ornellas.
