Twedt
Twedt (Danish Tved ) is a municipality in the district of Schleswig -Flensburg, in Schleswig- Holstein. The present municipality was established in 1969. Buschau and Grumby lie in the municipality.

Geography and transport
Twedt is about eleven kilometers northeast of Schleswig at the Loiter Au, which opens into the loop. Federal highway 201 leads from Schleswig to Kappeln by the community.
History
The settlement was first mentioned in 1231 Twedt.
Incorporations
The community Twedt was established on August 1, 1970 by merging the municipalities Grumby and Buschau.
Policy
Of the nine seats in the municipal council, the CDU has been the local elections in 2013 five seats, the voter community BGT has four.
