The 107th French Open 2008 took place from May 25 to June 8, 2008 in Paris, France.
Defender of the single were Rafael Nadal in the men's and Justine Henin in the women. In the men's doubles were Mark Knowles and Daniel Nestor, in women's doubles Alicia Molik and Mara Santangelo, the defending champion. Nathalie Dechy and Andy Ram were the defending champions in the mixed doubles.
Since Justine Henin announced in May 2008, the end of her career, she could not defend her title. You missed the opportunity so, the first woman to become the Open Era to have won four times in a row French Open.
In the men's singles won Rafael Nadal, which gave no record during the tournament for the fourth time in a row and thus equaled Bjorn Borg Open Era record. The title in the juniors won the unseeded Taiwanese Yang Tsung- hua, who was able to prevail in the final in straight sets 6:3 and 7:6 against the number Twelve of the seedings Jerzy Janowicz (Poland).
Junior Women Individual
In the juniors, the Romanian and number set by Nine of Simona Halep seedings. In the final she won in three sets 6:4, 6:7 and 6:2 against her compatriot Elena Bogdan.
