Bensenville is a village in DuPage County, Illinois, United States, with a small area near the O'Hare International Airport is located in Cook County and overlaps with Chicago. According to the census of the year 2010 18.352 inhabitants live in the town. Bensenville is home to the Edge Ice Arena, the stadium of the Chicago Steel junior ice hockey team.

Geography

According to the census of 2010 the town has a total area of ​​15 square kilometers, of which 99.11 % land area and 0.89 % of water. Part of the land belongs technically to O'Hare Airport and property of the City of Chicago, although there live no people. On the grounds of the airport, there are, however, two cemeteries belonging to churches in Bensenville. There has been considerable litigation because of the desire of the airport, to reallocate the cemeteries and to create room for take-off and landing runways.
