Dellfeld

Dell box is a municipality in the southwest, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of Zweibrücken -Land.

Geography

Dell box is located in the Schwarzbach, between the north and the subsequent Sickinger Höhe Zweibrücker hills.

The municipality consists of the villages Dellfeld and Falk bush and the living spaces Weihershof and brick cottage.

History

Dellfeld was first mentioned in 1295 as Dellenvelt. This was followed in its territorial affiliation always Palatinate -Zweibrücken. At the Straßenabzweigung to Pirmasens an inn was built in 1840, from which developed the district Falk Busch after the construction of the railway between Two Bridges and Landau.

Coat of arms

The blazon of the arms is: "From the red and gold divided by a wavy line, top right a golden hawk flying, top left, a silver rose with blue hickeys, below a red Romanesque church in side view ."

It was awarded in 1982 by the District Government of Rheinhessen-Pfalz.

Transport and Infrastructure

Before the construction of the A 8 led by Falk bush B 10, which is now downgraded to this section to a country road.

Since 1895 the railway line Landau -Rohrbach is in its present form with the station in Falk bush and breakpoint in Dell box.
