Griebelschied
Griebelschied is a municipality in the district of Birkenfeld, in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Herrnstein.
Geography
Griebelschied lies west of the Nahe between Kirn and Herrnstein. 43 percent of the district area is forested.
History
The town was first mentioned in 1279. In 1800 Schinderhannes celebrated at an inn the " robber ball of Griebelschied ".
