Oberhambach

Upper Hambach is a municipality in the district of Birkenfeld, in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of Birkenfeld. Upper Hambach is a nationally recognized tourist.

Geography

The place is located at Hambach in the Hunsrück. 57.5 percent of the district area is forested.

History

The church today Oberhambach, then just called Hambach, belonged to the late 18th century to the Rear County of Sponheim.
