Abentheuer is a municipality in the district of Birkenfeld, in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of Birkenfeld. Abentheuer is a nationally recognized resort.

Geography

History

Abentheuer has grown together from the two formerly separate districts of Leyen and Abentheuer or Abentheuerhütte beginning of the 20th century.
