Kirschweiler

Kirschweiler is a municipality in the district of Birkenfeld, in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Herrnstein. Kirschweiler is a nationally recognized tourist.

Geography

Kirschweiler is located a few kilometers northwest of Idar-Oberstein, in the Hunsrück. 56 percent of the district area is forested. Other neighboring municipalities are Hettenrodt and Kempfeld with his district Katzenloch.

Economy and infrastructure
