James E. Bromwell

James Edward Bromwell ( born March 26, 1920 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, † September 11, 2009 ibid ) was an American politician.

Bromwell studied at the University of Iowa in 1942, where he made his statements. During the Second World War he served in the U.S. Army with the rank of Private. Bromwell was used in Europe. After four years of service, he retired in 1946 from the rank of Captain in the Army. Back in the United States, he continued his studies at Harvard University where he was the School of Business Administration attended and graduated in 1947. Then he again visited the University of Iowa, where he studied until his graduation in 1950, the law.

Bromwell has now been added to the legal profession and commenced practice in Cedar Rapids. In 1960 he was elected as a Republican to Congress and represented there, from 3 January 1961 to January 3, 1965 Iowa House of Representatives of the United States. In 1964, he ran unsuccessfully for a further term. 1968 tried Bromwell also unsuccessful, to be nominated as the Republican candidate for election to the U.S. Senate. He now began to practice as a lawyer until 1974. From 1979 to 1986 he was again engaged in this profession.
