Mohr Church (Danish: Mårkær ) is a municipality in the district of Schleswig -Flensburg, in Schleswig- Holstein.

Geography and transport

History

The community Mohrkirch was formed January 1, 1970 from the two formerly independent municipalities Mohrkirch Easter wood and Mohrkirch Westerholzmuehle. Monastery Mohrkirchen

The monastery was founded in 1391 by Mohrkirchen Antonine monks from the monastery Tempzin who were resident in the area apparently before.
