Rickling
Rickling is a municipality in the district of Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein. Fehrenbötel and wells are located in the municipality, which existed in its present form since 1970.
Geography and transport
Rickling situated about 12 km south-east of Neumünster and 11 km northwest of Bad Segeberg on the main road 205 The Rothenmühlenau flows south past the place.
The place has a stop on the railway line Neumünster - Bad Oldesloe.
History
In 1164, the village was first mentioned.
In the era of National Socialism on the site of the National Association for the Inner Mission concentration camp Kuhlen was built in 1933 ( from July to October, with around 200 prisoners from Schleswig -Holstein).
