The Ruston & Hornsby Ltd.. was a British industrial group.

The company was created in 1918 through the merger of Richard Hornsby & Sons and Ruston, Proctor and Company.

The company's headquarters was located from 1919 to 1924 in Boultham ( Lincolnshire ). Today the company is still manufactures products of heavy machinery.

Car production

Two basic models of the Ruston - Hornsby with side-valve four-cylinder in-line engines, the 2.6 L or 3.3 L, engine capacity had been built. The middle class cars had a pretty good reputation, were in the Great Depression ultimately not hold on the market.
