Wohlde

Wohlde (Danish: Volde ) is a municipality in the district of Schleswig -Flensburg, in Schleswig- Holstein.

Geography

Wohlde is in the countryside Stapelholm on an elongated and heavily forested moraine island in the swampy Eider treene worry Lowland.

History

The place of " in de Wold " was formerly ( = in the forest), was first mentioned in 1426.

The municipality is the Holmer jump, which belongs to the Gottorfer fortifications.

Policy

Of the nine seats in the municipal council, the CDU has been the municipal election 2008, five seats and the SPD and the voter community KWW have two seats each.
