Domèvre-sur-Durbion
Domèvre -sur- Durbion is a commune in the Vosges in Lorraine. It belongs to the district Epinal, in the canton of Châtel- sur -Moselle, and since 2012 for the community association Communauté d' agglomà d' Epinal.

Geography
The 276 inhabitants (1 January 2011 ) scoring community Domèvre -sur- Durbion located 13 kilometers north of the center of Epinal, capital ( chef-lieu ) of the department of Vosges.
The 12.51 -square-mile municipality covers a section of the valley of the Mosel tributary Durbion. To the north and east The terrain rises gently, reached the plateau on the eastern edge of the municipality, 365 m above sea level. The forest shares the municipality in the north ( Bois des Évreux ) and East ( Bois des Epinettes, Bois Saint -Pierre ) belong to a large contiguous forest, twelve kilometers propagates to the northeast to Rambervillers.
Neighboring communities of Domèvre -sur- Durbion are Hadigny -les- Verrières in the north, Badménil -aux -Bois in the northeast, Bayecourt the southeast, Girmont the southwest, Pallegney in the west and Zincourt in the northwest.
History
By the year 1711 Domèvre was still part of the ban Bayecourt and depending on the chapter Remiremont.
