Allenfeld

Allenfeld is a municipality in the district of Bad Kreuznach in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Rüdesheim.

History

The town was first mentioned as Alden field in records in 1438.

Allenfeld belonged to the Rear County of Sponheim and was assigned to the division of Sponheim possessions in 1776 the Margraviate of Baden. After taking the left bank of the Rhine by French revolutionary troops (1794 ) the place from 1798 to 1814 belonged to the canton of Stromberg in the Rhine- Moselle department.
