Hergenfeld
Hergenfeld is a municipality in the district of Bad Kreuznach in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Rüdesheim.
Geography
The wine is at the foot of the Soon Forest. In the south and in the north is Wallenhausen Schöneberg.
To Hergenfeld includes the living space Georgshof.
History
Hergenfeld probably originated in the 7th century as Rodungsort. In 969 it was first mentioned.

The local council in Hergenfeld consists of twelve council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman.
Partner community
Hergenfeld has since 3 October 2010, a community partnership with the German community Königsmoos in Bavaria.
The King Mooser Teilort Klingsmoos was named to honor of Hergenfeld and significantly involved in the cultivation of the Donaumoos electoral Forestry Chamber director Johann Peter Kling.
