Ernest A. Macdonald

Ernest Albert Macdonald (* 1858 in Oswego (New York), † December 18, 1902 ) was the 30th mayor of Toronto.

Ernest Macdonald emigrated at a young age to Brockville in Ontario and moved to Toronto in the 1880s. He became a member of the city council for the District of St. Matthew and ran three times unsuccessfully for mayor. On his fourth attempt, he was elected mayor and held from January 1900 to January 1901 the Office.
