Charles A. Maguire

Charles Alfred Maguire ( born May 24, 1875 in Toronto, Ontario, † October 14, 1949 ) was the 38th mayor of Toronto.

Maguire began his professional career with the insurance company Maguie & Company, and later became vice president of the railway company Hydro-Electric Railway Association. He was in the years 1909-12 and 1914-17 in the City Council. On 21 December 1921 he was elected mayor of Toronto and held from January 1922 to January 1924 the Office. Charles Maguire was married to Lillian Cusack and had with her a son.
