Hohengœft (German: Hohengœft ) is a municipality with 522 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Bas- Rhin in Alsace region of France. It belongs to the canton of Marmoutier and the Local Government Association, Coteaux de la Mossig
Geography
The community Hohengœft located on the edge of the Vosges and is 16 kilometers from Saverne and 25 km from Strasbourg. Southeast of the community, the 397 meter high Goeftberg rises as northeastern continuation of the Vosges - tail.
Neighboring communities of Hohengœft are brats in the north, Willgottheim in the northeast, Wintzenheim stove Mountain in the east, Kuttolsheim and Nordheim in the southeast, Wasselonne in the south, Crastatt in the west and ten acre in the Northwest.
