Käshofen
Käshofen is a municipality in the southwest, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of Zweibrücken -Land.
Geography
Käshofen lies in the west of the district, right on the border of the Saarland. West is Homburg, in the Northeast rose head, in the southeast Kleinbundenbach in the southwest Kirrberg and Mörsbach. To Käshofen and the living space belongs Etzenbachermühle.
History
Käshofen was first mentioned in 1198.

Parish council
The local council in Käshofen consists of twelve council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman.
Mayor
At the last mayor election, there were no nominations. Therefore, Karl Hoffmann was elected by the Council on 13 July 2009.
Coat of arms
The blazon of the arms is: "Under a gold extended oblique head of the shield, in three green oak leaves and acorns green, black a golden draw well with reel and flywheel ".
It was awarded in 1982 by the District Government of Rheinhessen-Pfalz.
Culture and sights
The Homburger Mountain race will be held between Homburg and Käshofen.
