Nicole Hosp

Nicole Hosp ( born November 6, 1983 in Ehenbichl, Tyrol) is an Austrian alpine skier. She was initially specializes in slalom and giant slalom at the World Cup and starts in all disciplines since 2006. Besides the descent she has been able to win at least one World Cup races in each discipline. In the season 2006/2007 Hosp decided the World Cup itself, also in 2007 she became world champion in giant slalom.

Biography

Beginnings and initial success (until 2002)

Hosp grew in close proximity to to slopes and ski school and came so early to skiing. Through her ​​parents, she got a personal trainer already was eight years old. Soon successes at youth level one, including the Austrian student champion title ( age class pupils II) in the Super- G in 1998. Hosp visited the Skigymnasium in Stams and took from January 1999 participate in FIS races, where they are still in the same month the first podium reached. Overall World Cup and injury lay-offs (2006-2010)

In the season 2006/2007 Hosp achieved four victories and a total of twelve podiums in all disciplines, except for the departure, in a sixth rank their best result was. The 2008/2009 season was marked by injuries Hosp.
