Rocca d'Evandro
Rocca d' Evandro is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3329 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Caserta in Campania. It is part of the Comunità Montana Monte Santa Croce. The community is located about 50 kilometers northwest of Caserta. Rocca d' Evandro is immediately adjacent to the provinces of Frosinone and Latina ( Lazio Region ).
History
In ancient Roman times here was a wine trading center (Porto di Mola ). Documented in a Zessionsdokument In July 961, the towering castle of the church today.
Traffic
The train station of Rocca d' Evandro lies on the railway line Roma - Formia -Naples. By the municipality shall also undertake the Strada Statale 430 della Valle del Garigliano of San Vittore del Lazio after Cellole.
