History
1480 built Francesco Bologna in " Trappetum Cannamelarum " means an establishment for sugar extraction. When two centuries later, the first fishermen settled in Trappeto, the sugar was replaced by the fishing and the village grew slowly but steadily. Even today, fishing, in addition to agriculture, the main industry Trappetos. The fish market is a top tourist attraction.
