WÃ¡nderson do Carmo

Francisco Wanderson do Carmo Carneiro, often referred to only as Wanderson do Carmo or Wanderson, ( born February 18, 1986 in Baturité, Ceará ) is a Brazilian footballer. The offensive player who can operate both as a midfielder and striker was top scorer of the 2009 Allsvenskan.

Career

Carmo began his career at Tiradentes CE. About Ferroviário AC 2005 he came to Fortaleza EC. From there he was loaned to Atlético Clube River in 2007.

In the summer of 2007, Brazil Carmo left and GAIS joined in the Swedish Allsvenskan. At the Club in Gothenburg, he signed a contract with four and a half year term. In its first six series in Sweden, he came in six games for use. In the 2-1 win over IF Brommapojkarna on the final day of the season 2007 he became the match winner as he made sure the league in direct comparison against the table taillight by his first competitive goal for GAIS and the preparation of the other hit of the club.

In the second season Carmo was able to earn a regular place and carried with nine goals this season, which earned him the ninth rank in the top scorer of the Allsvenskan, the early league and a place in the middle of the league at. After he was among the leading scorers in the premier league in the 2009 season before the summer break, he was propagated by observers of foreign clubs such as Ajax Amsterdam, the SC Heerenveen Hellas Verona or taken under inspection. However, he remained at the club and proved in the second half of the season as more accurate scorer. With 18 goals this season, he helped again crucial for relegation of his employer in and crowned together with Tobias Hysén from local rivals IFK Göteborg scorer in the Allsvenskan.

After Carmo was gone in the first half of the 2010 still for GAIS hunting for goals, he took in July of this year to an offer assisted by the Norwegian Trond Sollied Saudi Arabian club Al -Ahli. However, in the spring of 2011 he returned to Sweden. Shortly before the transfer window closed on March 31, he signed a loan contract at GAIS valid until August, as his new club with Marcinho, Amad Al Hosni and Nikola Petković sat three players other than allowed foreign players. Shortly after the start of the summer transfer window in August of the year finally took the Gothenburg club striker - with five goals this season to date, the third-best club internal scorer after Mervan Celik and his compatriot Alvaro Santos and a total of 16 goals directly involved - firmly under contract.
