Wiesbaum
Wiesenbaum is a municipality in the volcanic Eifel region of Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the Hillesheim.
Geography
Wiesenbaum is located in the Natural Park of the Volcanic Eifel.
The municipality is divided into the districts Mirbachstrasse with the Traudenhof and Wiesenbaum with the living quarters on the Kruchler, Birkenhof, Laubornhof and Wiesbaumermühle.
History
The place Wiesenbaum was mentioned under the name Wisebenne the first time on March 31, 1131 in a document, when Pope Innocent II to the Bonn Cassius pen the local ownership confirmed.
The district Mirbachstrasse is regarded as the headquarters of an old Rhenish noble family, the lords of Mirbachstrasse that there built an artificial castle ruin and the Redeemer Chapel at the beginning of the 20th century.
On March 17, 1974, until then independent municipality Mirbachstrasse was incorporated.

The local council in Wiesbaden tree consists of twelve council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman location.

Blazon: " From Red divided over silver, above 5 (3:2) silver rings, below a black deer antlers with Grind".
The coat of arms of the municipality Wiesenbaum refers to local nobility and the previous ownership in the community. The Knights of Wiesenbaum led five silver rings in the main black shield in their coat of arms, which were taken over in the arms of the local church meadow tree, but on a red background. The district Mirbachstrasse is closely related to the Rhenish nobility of Mirbachstrasse, which here had his headquarters. The Mirbach resulted in black with a silver deer antlers Grind. Their coat of arms is recorded in wrong colors in the lower part Crest. The division of the emblem is in addition to the two districts Wiesenbaum and Mirbachstrasse.
