Geography
Old churches lies as well as the neighboring communities Dittweiler and Frohnhofen in Kohlbachtal in the Western Palatinate.
History
The first recorded mention of the Old churches ( called by its inhabitants Alekeije ) was 1290th The church fete ( fair ), which is celebrated annually on the first Sunday in October, goes back to the year 1839.
