Chris Chelios

Chris Chelios ( born January 25, 1962 as Christos Kostas Tselios in Chicago, Illinois ) is a retired American professional ice hockey player of Greek descent. In the NHL, he was active 1984-2010 for the Montreal Canadiens, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings and Atlanta Thrashers. His cousin, Nikos Tselios was also a professional hockey player. 2013 he was honored with induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Career

Chelios played during his junior time at the Moose Jaw Canucks of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. Here the defender was able to draw attention to itself both on offense, but also by its robust body use. Cheli 's Chili

Chelios has two bars with the name " Cheli 's Chili Bar ". The first LO Established in 2003 in Dearborn (Michigan ), the second in 2006 in the city of Detroit in a three story house. Previously, he also had a restaurant in Chicago, which was closed after the change to the Red Wings.
