History

In 1940 was opened the first ski jump in Trondheim. The first hill record marked the Norwegian ski jumping legend Birger Ruud of 56 meters. 1952, the first major remodeling took place, a small and a Normalschnanze (now K64 ) were built. In 1960, the large hill was built (now the K78 ). Both wholesale and normal hill received floodlights. In 1977, the K64 hill was covered with mats. It was followed by several modifications and extensions, the K78 hill was decommissioned in 1987. Since the early 1990s, the area has existed in its present form, for the Nordic World Ski Championships 1997, the current HS was built in 131 ski jump. All jumps, apart from the disused K78 can be jumped on in the summer. In autumn 2008, the landing of the jump was reprofiled and expanded the hill size to 140 m, the K- point to 123 m.

Large Hill

On the large hill of Trondheim World Cup events are held regularly. In the seasons 2005/2006 and 2006/2007, however, the competition had to be postponed due to lack of snow to Lillehammer.
