Poeuilly

Poeuilly ( Picard: Peilly ) is a commune with 98 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region of northern France. Located in the municipality in the canton of Vermandois Roisel and is part of the Communauté de communes du canton de Roisel.

Geography

The municipality is situated approximately 14 km south-east of Peronne on the road department in 1029 (old Route nationale 29), which belongs to the system of the Chaussée Brune skin, directly on the border to the Aisne.

History

The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
