Bouchavesnes-Bergen

Bouchavesnes Mountains is a commune with 339 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region; it belongs to the district of the canton of Peronne and Peronne.

The community was called until 1920 only Bouchavesnes. In World War completely destroyed, it was partially rebuilt at the expense of the Norwegian entrepreneur Haakon Wallem and the city of Bergen. Out of gratitude Bouchavesnes added his name to the present form.
