2009 Copa Telmex

The Copa Telmex 2009 was a tennis tournament which took place in Buenos Aires from 15 to 21 February 2009. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2009 and was discharged on clay court. In the same week the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships and the Open 13 in Marseille were played in Memphis. The latter included just like the Copa Claro to Category ATP World Tour 250, while the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships belonged to Category ATP World Tour 500.

Defender of the single was David Nalbandian, who retired this year as topgesetzter players in the semi-final against Juan Mónaco. This was in the final against the Spaniard Tommy Robredo and lost the match in three sets. For Robredo it was in the current season after the success in Costa do Sauipe his second title and his ninth title overall. In double Agustín Calleri and Luis Horna were the defending champions, but they were no longer together in this year. In this year's final, Marcel Granollers and Alberto Martín prevailed in three sets to Nicolás Almagro and Santiago Ventura. This was their first joint title.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs.
