2009 If Stockholm Open

The If Stockholm Open 2009 was a tennis tournament which was held in Stockholm from 19 to 25 October 2009. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2009 and was discharged on hard court. In the same week was held in Moscow, the Kremlin Cup, as the If Stockholm Open counted exactly to Category ATP World Tour 250.

Defender of the single was David Nalbandian, who did not participate in this year's tournament. This year's final was Marcos Baghdatis to decide for himself, he sat down against the Belgian Olivier Rochus in straight sets 6:1 and 7:5 by. In doubles, Jonas Bjorkman and Kevin Ullyett were the defending champions, but they took this year no longer together in the tournament. While Björkman not participated, Ullyett won again with his new partner Bruno Soares. In the final they defeated the duo Simon Aspelin and Paul Hanley in straight sets.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs.
