Albert Day (politician)

Albert Day ( born November 29, 1797November 11, 1876 ) was an American politician. In the years 1856 and 1857 he was Deputy Governor of the State of Connecticut.

The sources give about the life of Albert Day only inconclusive. Neither his birth nor his place of death have survived. Also about his career beyond politics nothing is known. He lived in Hartford and was a member of the Free Soil Party. In 1856 he was elected to the side of William T. Minor Vice Governor of the State of Connecticut. This post he held 1856-1857. Yet he was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate. Day died on 11 November 1876.
