Flag of North Dakota

The design of the flag of North Dakota is almost an exact copy of the unit banner, which was carried by troops of the State in the Philippine-American War. It was adopted on 3 March 1911 by the Legislative Assembly of North Dakota, although the colors have not been precisely determined at this time. The legislation was like 1943, the flag of the original troops banner at, which is exhibited in the center of the cultural heritage of North Dakota, Bismarck.

The official ratio of the flag is 33:26, significantly shorter than other flags; nevertheless, the flag is almost always produced in a ratio of 5:3 and sold.
