Flag of Tristan da Cunha

The flag of Tristan da Cunha is based, like the flags of most British Overseas Territories on the Blue Ensign, it was introduced on 20 October 2002. It is blue, outside Cunha and the Union Jack leads the coat of arms of Tristan da in Gösch.

The coat of arms is divided up in blue two albatrosses on an equilateral triangle [= a Inselsberg ], all silvery, mirrored below with inverted colors. On the shield a golden Seekrone, above a blue rimmed bright blue fishing boat, the brown mast gehisstes white- light blue - white fore-. Supporters are two golden lobster. Under the coat of arms on a silver band schwarzbuchstabige the motto " Our faith is our strength " ( " Our faith is our strength ").
