Glanbrücken

Glanbrücken is a municipality in the district of Kusel, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Lauter corners.

Geography

The place is situated on the Glan in the Western Palatinate. It is divided into the districts Hachenbach south of the glans and low Eisenbach north. In the northeast Offenbach- dog home is located in the southwest of St. Julian.

History

Hachenbach was first documented in 1150. It belonged to the county Veldenz, later Palatinate -Zweibrücken and after the French Revolution to Bavaria.

Lower Eisenbach was named in 1336 as Ysenbach first time. Until the French Revolution, the village belonged to the Barons of Kellenbach. 1816 the place with the Principality of Lichtenberg, a newly exclave of the duchy of Saxe -Coburg -Saalfeld, respectively in 1826 the duchy of Saxe -Coburg and Gotha.
