UCI Road World Championships – Junior men's road race
The UCI Road World Junior Championships (UCI Juniors Road World Championships ) are Cycling World Championships in road cycling for juniors and from 1987 also for juniors, so athletes 17 to 18 years. Organizer is the International Cycling Union Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI ).
In Munich in 1973 and 1974 in Warsaw found Junior European Championships in 1974 and A Road driving in 70 km team time trial instead, which are regarded as precursors of the Junior World Championships, as well as non- Europeans were at the start.
From 1975 to 1996 and from 2005 to 2010 Junior World Championships were held in the rail and road driving each in a region as a common event. 1997 to 2004 and then from 2011 onwards the road races were held jointly with the World Championships of the elite.
