Warmsroth
Warmsroth is a municipality in the district of Bad Kreuznach in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Stromberg. Warmsroth is a nationally recognized tourist destination.
Geography
Warmsroth lies in the Hunsrück south-west of the Rhine. Nearly half of the district area is forested. To Warmsroth part of the district forest Erbach. To the east is Waldalgesheim, to the south and west is Roth Stromberg.
History
The place was first mentioned in records in 1281 as Warmsrait. From 1398 until the French Revolution, he belonged to the Palatinate.
