1968–69 Nationalliga A season
The 1968/69 season was the 31st regular hosting of the National League A, the top Swiss league in hockey. For a total of second time in their history of HC La Chaux -de-Fonds Swiss champion, while the HC Davos descent into NLB.
Mode
In a joint main round played each of the eight teams in return match against each group opponent, bringing the total number of matches per team was 14. The five top-ranked teams qualified for the final round, in which the Master was played. The three last player played in the Relegation to avoid relegation. According to their placement in the main round, the teams were given in the second season phase bonus points. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw one point. At a loss to give any points.
