2012 U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships

The U.S. Men 's Clay Court Championships in 2012 were a tennis tournament which took place in Houston from 9 to 15 April 2012. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2012 and was discharged on clay court. In the same week was played in Casablanca Grand Prix Hassan II, which just like the U.S. Men 's Clay Court Championships counted to Category ATP World Tour 250.

In single Ryan Sweeting went to defend the title, but he retired in the quarterfinals of. In this year's finals Juan Mónaco won in three sets over John Isner. This was his first triumph in Houston, the second ATP title in 2012 and the fifth overall in his career. Isner however, lost to Indian Wells for the second time in 2012 in an ATP final.

Last year's winners in the doubles, Bob and Mike Bryan, participated in this year not participate in the tournament. This year's doubles competition decided James Blake and Sam Querrey for themselves, in the final they defeated Treat Conrad Huey and Dominic Inglot. This was their first joint title, Blake won in 2004 with another partner in Houston. Overall, it was for Blake sixth ATP doubles title of his career, for Querrey the fourth.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 28 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. The four top-seeded player in singles each got a bye into the second round.
