70th Golden Globe Awards
The 70th ceremony of the Golden Globe Awards (english 70th Golden Globe Awards ) took place on January 13, 2013 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association ( HFPA ) voted on the best American and foreign film and television productions as well as artists of the previous year, were honored at a gala dinner. The award ceremony was broadcast live from the U.S. television channel NBC. Successful productions were the movie musical Les Misérables, the TV series Homeland and the TV movie Game Change - The Sarah Palin effect, each won three awards.
The former female comedians from Saturday Night Live and actresses Tina Fey ( 30 Rock ) and Amy Poehler ( Parks and Recreation ) moderated the 70th Golden Globe Awards. Both competed at the same time the price for the Best Actress in a Comedy Series.

The nominations in the 25 categories ausgelobten were announced on December 13, 2012. This task took the actor Jessica Alba, Ed Helms and Aida Takla O'Reilly, President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. The members of the HFPA voted then between the 24th December 2012 and 9 January 2013, the winners from which were then honored on January 13. For the first time in the history of the award ceremony, the Golden Globe winners after publication of the Academy Award nominations (10 January ) were announced.
In the field of Film Feature Film productions have been taken into account with a minimum length of 70 minutes, the 2012 at least seven days in Los Angeles had to be shown from January to December in order to qualify. As a foreign-language feature films productions were recorded non-English dialogue with at least 51 percent that had to be premiered from 1 November 2011 to 31 December 2012. According to the current rules, this could not qualify best film drama and best comedy / musical in the categories. The most frequent nominations in the category of film was Steven Spielberg's historical drama Lincoln unite itself, but its the only seven nominations into a win ( Best Drama lead actor - Daniel Day- Lewis) could transpose. Successful film productions was Tom Hooper's musical adaptation Les Misérables, the three awards received ( Best movie musical, lead actor - Hugh Jackman, Supporting Actress Anne Hathaway ), followed by Ben Affleck's thriller Argo ( Best Drama, Director ) and Quentin Tarantino's Western film Django Unchained ( Best Supporting Actor - Christoph Waltz, writer), each with two derived prices. The Austrian Michael Haneke was successful with his French-language drama Love in the category Best Foreign Language Film. The best film composers nominated but remained unprämiert Tom Tykwer, Johnny Klimek and Reinhold Heil for Cloud Atlas.
In the division Television American productions (series, miniseries, movies) of calendar year 2012 were nominated and were aired on prime-time (19 or 20 to 23 clock ). Foreign television programs were not nominierbar under the current Directives, unless it was American co-productions. With five nominations broadcast on HBO movie Game Change led - The Sarah Palin Effect by Jay Roach to the favorites field and won three awards ( Best Mini - Series or TV Movie, Actress - Julianne Moore, Supporting Actor - Ed Harris). The production had been at the Emmy Awards in 2012 won five awards. On four nominations and also the three awards last year winning the Golden Globe drama series Homeland came ( Best Drama Series, Best series protagonist - Drama - Claire Danes and Damian Lewis).
Already established as the winner was the American actress Jodie Foster, who received the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement. Foster was honored twice in the past with the award for best actress in a movie drama for their later Oscar-winning performance in The Accused (1989) and The Silence of the Lambs ( 1992). In addition, she had received five other nominations 1977-2012.
As " Miss Golden Globe" at the award ceremony for the winners assisted Francesca Eastwood, daughter of Clint Eastwood and Frances Fisher.
