Emmanuel Hostache

Emmanuel Hostache ( born July 18, 1975 in La Mure, † 30 May 2007) was a French bobsledder.

The longtime brakeman Bruno Mingeon was usually only called in a team Minou. The athlete could run in under 11 seconds, the 100 - meter track, despite a weight of 110 kg, making it one of the best pushers of the French Bobsleigh Association. He celebrated his probably biggest success at the 1998 Olympics in Nagano, where he same time as the British Bob to pilot Sean Olsson won the bronze medal with Mingeon, Eric La Chanony and Max Ribert. A year later he won with Mingeon at the World Championships in Cortina d' Ampezzo gold in the quad and bronze in the two-man bob. A year later he was at the same place European champion in four-man bobsleigh. His career was abruptly ended when in 2000 she was diagnosed with bone cancer Hostache ( Ewing 's sarcoma ).
