List of Alberta provincial highways

This list represents an overview of the highways in the Canadian province of Alberta

Overview of the classic Primary Highways, ie Highways of the first order, which have always been under the administration of Alberta:

Highway 58 south of Boyer

The following highways in the past were under the administration of cities and towns and were previously known as Secondary Highway. As part of a reorganization of 2000/2001 these highways have been placed under administration by province, the labeling was maintained, so often found on the shields even the term secondary.

500-599

The highways in the number range 500/600 are conducted principally in Süd-/Nord-Richtung, from the border with the United States to the Northwest Territories.

600-699

700-799

The highways in the number range 700/800 are conducted principally in Ost-/West-Richtung, from the border with the province of Saskatchewan to the province of British Columbia.

800-899

900-999

The Highways with a number greater than 900 are either completed new roads or renamed sections of older highways, but the lead now on new lines.
