Soyuz 37

Soyuz 37 mission is the designation for the flight of a Soviet Soyuz spacecraft to the Soviet space station Salyut 6 It was the twelfth visit to a manned Soyuz spacecraft in this space station and the 59th flight in the Soviet Sojusprogramm.

Mission overview

It was the seventh visit team ( Salyut 6 EP -7), who visited the station Salyut 6. Also, this visit took place as part of the Intercosmos program. During the visit 6 EO - 4, the fourth core team Salyut worked with Leonid Popov and Valery Rjumin on board. For the sixth research program Intercosmos team (about 30 experiments, including Earth observations and recordings, materials research, medical examinations ) were also studies on the growth of a Algenfarnart from Vietnam, which comes for future closed life support systems in question.
