Süderhöft
Süderhöft (Danish: Sønderhøft ) is a municipality in the district of North Friesland Schleswig -Holstein.
Geography and transport
Süderhöft located about nine kilometers east of Friedrichstadt in a rural environment. South of the village runs the federal highway 202 connects the city with Friedrich Rendsburg. Süderhöft lies on the border between March and Geest, bordering the landscape Stapelholm.
History
1619 Meye Muhl was burned out Süderhöft in Schwabstedt as a witch.
Policy
Municipal council
Since the municipality has less than 70 inhabitants, it has a community meeting place of a municipal council; these belong to all eligible voters of the municipality.
Mayor
For the election period 2013-2018 Tewes Vogelsang was re-elected mayor.
Fire protection
Since March 2013, the fire protection is ensured by the newly formed volunteer fire department Hude - Fresendelf - Süderhöft. At the same time the existing fire brigade Fresendelf - Hollbüllhuus - Süderhöft was dissolved.
