Vollerwiek

Vollerwiek (Danish: Follervig, Frisian: Folerwiik ) is a municipality in the district of North Friesland Schleswig -Holstein.

Geography and transport

Vollerwiek located south of the peninsula between the eiderstedt Eidersperrwerk and Sankt Peter -Ording. A few kilometers north runs the federal highway 202 from Tonning to Sankt Peter- Ording.

History

The Vollerwieker church of St. Martin was founded in 1113 by Garding, and it is a predominantly Romanesque brick building with surrounding graveyard.
