1912–13 Italian Football Championship

The Italian Football Championship 1912/13, was the 16th Italian football championship, which was held by the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC ). For the first time teams from Southern Italy were allowed to participate in the championship.

Organization

It is a masterpiece of North and one of southern Italy was first determined the associations of each region first played against each other and was then determined in a final round each of the winners in the north or in the south. The two winning teams then played in a final of the Italian football champions 1912/13. For the first time took from the north of the FC Novara, Racing Libertas Milano, Volontari Venice and Modena FC part. In addition, there were by first-time participation of the South 10 other debutants, including but not limited Lazio and predecessor clubs AS Roma and Napoli.
