Haschbach am Remigiusberg
Haschbach am Remigiusberg is a municipality in the district of Kusel, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Kusel.
Geography
Haschbach lies at the foot of Remigius Mountain in the western Palatinate. To the east flows the Glan.
History
The place was first mentioned in documents as Habbach in 1149.
In 1959, the city name was officially extended by a request from the Municipal Council of Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Interior on Haschbach am Remigiusberg, to avoid confusion with the nearby Haschbach am Glan.

The local council in Haschbach consists of twelve council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman.
Coat of arms
The blazon of the arms is: " quartered From blue and silver, top left a silver church with Gothic nave and a Romanesque tower with a Baroque dome, top right a rotbewehrter and bezungter lion, bottom left, a twin-towered, blue Zinnenburg with gate and bottom right silver rock ".
It was awarded in 1978 by the district government Neustadt.

Economy and infrastructure
In the southwest of the A 62 runs north in the near Kusel district town is a train station of the railway line Landstuhl - Kusel as well as in Theisbergstegen.
