Ostenfeld, Nordfriesland

East field ( Husum ) (Danish: Eastern box or Østerfjolde, Frisian: Aastenfäil, südjütisch: Østenfjolj ) is a municipality in the district of North Friesland Schleswig -Holstein.

Geography and transport

East field is located about twelve kilometers east of Husum and is bordered to the east by the district of Schleswig -Flensburg.

The nature is dominated by the Ostenfelder Geest and the Eider- Treene Lowland.

History

After annexation of the duchies of Schleswig and Holstein by Prussia a country parish church was formed from the territory of the parish east field. They included the three village communities east field, Winnert and Wittbek. After the dissolution of a part of the estate districts Forstgutsbezirks Gottorp was incorporated into the village community east field. 1934, the parish rural communities were dissolved and the village communities now form an independent country communities. On November 1, 1970, the community was east field ( circle Husum ) officially renamed in East field ( Husum ).

Policy

Of the 13 seats in the municipal council, the CDU has been the local elections in 2013 eight seats, the voter community AWGO five.
